Access to and obtaining willful consent and participation from members of the black & minority patient communities for clinical trials that lead to the development of effective & efficient humane treatment for various diseases and disorders.
Accurate translation of spoken and written communication to the patient is necessary to attain the highest quality of health equity by eliminating disparities and improving health for all cultural and socioeconomic groups.
Establishing and strengthening trusting relationships between healthcare organizations, treatment teams, and their patients. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and everybody deserves access to healthcare providers who understand cultural practices and languages.
